Buckle your seatbelts and hang on tight..this post has a lot going on…calendar openings, christmas cards, new Uppercase cuties, and a giveaway!

And now for the fun…let’s celebrate summer with a giveaway.  Here’s how it works.  I have created a new Facebook page for Uppercase Photography that you can visit by clicking here.  When you visit the page, “like” the page and then leave a comment on the wall.  Anyone who leaves a comment is entered in a drawing to win a FREE August session AND a complimentary set of 25 holiday cards.  To  make it even more fun, if we get over 100 comments (one per facebook account) on the wall, I will give away another free August session including a complimentary set of 25 holiday cards.  So after you  “like” the page and leave a comment (say whatever you’d like, but keep it clean, of course) then invite your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, etc to do the same.  The more comments left, the more free August sessions with a set of holiday cards given away and the better your chance is to win!

Now I know what you’re thinking, it’s only July, how could I possibly be thinking about holiday cards.  Well, I certainly am and I encourage you to do the same.  How wonderful it is to cross another thing off your holiday “to do” list early this year, leaving less stress and more time to enjoy your family.  We are pairing the holidays with a trip to Disney this year, so I know I am looking to have much of my holiday preparations done very early.  With that in mind, I have already been planning some of the most beautiful holiday cards ever.  Here is a little sneak peek of just a few of them….many, many more to come, as this year I will have my largest selection of holiday cards ever!  I am collecting a wide variety of styles from modern, to classic, to vintage, to cute so there is something sure to thrill each of you:

And in case you didn’t notice them in the card samples above, last week I was “seeing double” while photographing some adorable twins.  Okay, not really seeing double as neither of these pairs looked a lot a like but they were all so adorable.

Two year olds, Miss C and Miss N were just angels on a steamy hot summer evening:

And the day after spending time with those adorable girls, a wonderful photographer friend came to visit and help me out with photographing twin newborns, Mr. J and Mr. L.  Can you believe how different they are, with Mr. J almost a full pound heavier than Mr. L?  But they were both so sweet and cuddly and it was such a pleasure to spend time with them and their family.

As I mentioned previously, I will be on vacation from July 17th through July 25th.  I will have limited access to email and phone, so all inquiries and contacts will be returned upon my arrival back home.  Feel free to comment away on the facebook page while I am gone and I will choose the winner(s) on Monday, July 26th and announce them here on the blog and also on the facebook page.
