Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by the Uppercase Open House on Saturday!  It was so much fun!  I enjoyed seeing old and new faces and socializing with some of my little Uppercase cuties.  I didn’t end up with lots of photos of the event as I was so busy having fun.  (Mental note:  being both the hostess and the photographer is not possible!)  But here are just a few:

That’s Kaitlyn Roberts Green there in the center with me.  If you are a long-time blog reader, you may remember that I photographed her wedding back in 2009.  Kaitlyn is a talented event planner and I never could have made the Open House happen without her!  She resides in Charlotte, but if you are ever planning an event and need an expert, contact me for Kaitlyn’s information.  I would also like to say a huge “Thank You” to Imagine Flowers for donating coupons to add to our VIP bags.  Their flower arrangements are so unique and wonderful so be sure to contact them for all your floral needs.

The studio definitely feels like a great home for Uppercase Photography now and I hope you are feeling at home here as well.

I couldn’t make a post without sharing some of the wonderful newborn images I’ve been working on recently.  I have welcomed lots of babies into the studio in the past few months and couldn’t be happier.  This little sweetie was supposed to wait until Christmas to make her appearance, but she just couldn’t wait to meet her new family.  We were able to squeeze in her session at 5 days old before I headed to Florida for the Disney vacation.  She is a perfect example of why it’s so important to capture babies as soon as possible after birth.  Miss E was perfectly sleepy and content for the entire session.
