Can you believe it is May? I can hardly believe it. I had a long list of things I wanted to accomplish during the “slower season” of January and February. Now somehow May has arrived, flowers are blooming, outdoor sessions and newborns are in full swing….and my list did not get accomplished. Guess there is always next January! In the meantime I am enjoying the beautiful weather and the beautiful sessions that spring brings.
A couple of clients stopped by to pick up their orders at the studio today and it reminded me to share these sweet faces on the blog. Both of these adorable boys are at a great age for portraits during the first year…sitting up but not yet mobile.
Mr. B had such a infectious smile that could truly light up a room.
His mom took home a beautiful wood-mounted collage of this today…love it!
And this Mr. B just has the most awesome head of hair and such a sweet, gentle spirit.
I know if can be hard for moms to jump in front of the camera with their little ones, but what mom wouldn’t cherish an image like this?
Speaking of Moms, I have a few spots left for Mommy & Me Mini Sessions on Tuesday, May 10th and Friday, May 13th. Digital files and prints will be back in time for Father’s Day gifts. Email me at julie@uppercasephotography.com for details.
Also, with Mother’s Day right around the corner, I am proud to be a part of Triad Mom’s on Main’s Mother of the Year Contest. The nominations are in and Triad Mom’s on Main has chosen ten very deserving finalists for “Mother of the Year.” You can read more about them HERE and vote for your favorite. One deserving winner will receive a $400 gift certificate to Uppercase Photography and many other wonderful prizes!
I am continuing to book sessions for May, June, July and August. I have just a couple of spots remaining at the end of May. Please email me at julie@uppercasephotography.com if you’d like to learn more about booking a session. Maternity sessions are best booked early and shot between 32-36 weeks. Newborn sessions are best booked before your baby is born so the session can occur before your newborn is two weeks of age. All other sessions are booking a few weeks in advance for weekday spots and a few months in advance for limited weekend availability. Thanks so much for your support of Uppercase Photography and your taste in fine portraiture!
