Full Circle | Greensboro Baby Photographer

One of my goals this year has been to provide my clients with a full experience from start to finish.  Let’s face it, you have so many choices these days when it comes to photographers.  I want my clients to feel that they are leaving my studio with both the highest quality in portraits and the feeling of a great experience.  This session was one of those where I really feel like I met my goal.  Baby K’s mom and I started discussing clothing options months before the session…short emails here and there when I saw something cute on etsy or she was shopping for her sweet girl.  As the session drew near, we were both so excited about the planning we had done.  As luck would have it, it was super cold and yucky on her planned session date and we had to reschedule.  But the reschedule date turned out perfectly and gave just enough time for the field of yellow wildflowers to be in full bloom.  We had such a good time celebrating Baby K’s first year coming to a close that evening and admiring how far she has come…from a little NICU baby to the chubbiest little thighs and cheeks ever!

After the session, the planning was over but there was still much to be done for Baby K’s session.  As I prepared each of her images for viewing, it was like reliving the fun once again.  Once all the images were prepared, it was time for K’s family to relive the fun as well.  At the in studio ordering session, we watched a slideshow of all the images set to music (don’t worry, tissues are always nearby for this event!)  Then we reviewed printed proofs of all the images.  Much time was spent sorting and arranging our favorites, choosing frames, albums, digital files, etc.  We left the ordering session excited to see many of these images framed and displayed.

I spent much of the day yesterday working on making Baby K’s order complete.  Once again, I relived all the fun as I created album pages and ordered frames (some of them bright yellow to match the flowers!)  Soon, it will all come full circle when I package all the wonderful goodies and send them on their way to adorn K’s home.  The full experience will be complete and it leaves me feeling fulfilled and happy…something just burning a disc of images could never really do on it’s own.  I hope the same is true of the wonderful family who will receive and treasure these images.  Thank you, baby K’s family, for the pleasure of watching her grow..chubby little thighs and all.
