Parents often ask me about the best times for portraits during their baby’s first year. After the newborn session, I like to see my little clients again when they are sitting up. Typically, there is this magic little stage when babies can sit unassisted but aren’t yet mobile. Granted this magical stages lasts longer for some lucky parents than others, but right in that stage is a wonderful time for baby portraits. The “sitting up” session is usually filled with chubby baby rolls, dimpled hands and feet, curious looks and gummy smiles. The end result is usually some of my favorites portraits during the first year.
This particular “sitting up” session was twice the fun, with twins C and L. You may remember their amazing newborn session seen HERE. It was such a treat to see them again and see how they’ve grown. C and L each have their own little looks and personalities that came shining through this session.
