The absolutely perfect Miss M and her family were the very first session in the new studio space back in June.  Newborn sessions don’t typically make me nervous.  I’ve photographed hundreds of new babies and feel very relaxed during sessions with newborns.  But I must admit the first newborn session in a new space is enough to make even a very experienced newborn photographer nervous.  Everything is just a little different….the lighting, the space, the prop storage, the heat….everything.  But I had no reason to be nervous with Miss M.  She was the perfect little model and never even woke during her session.  She could have cared less that we were in a new space.  I told her at the end of the session that she christened the new studio with sleep, happy baby vibes.  Perfect!  Here are a few of my favorites from her session.

These little bloomers are made from Mommy’s wedding dress, which she sat and sewed while I shot the rest of the session.  How awesome is that?!

I do believe these first shots ever taken on the studio bed of this mommy and baby are what made me fall in love with it.  So sweet and beautiful. <3

Updates:

I will be away from the studio August 2-11th and again August 15-18th.  A girl has to get in summer vacations while she can!  School and the busy fall season will be upon us so shortly.  Please feel free to email me while I am away.  I will return all correspondence as soon as possible.

I have had several people ask if I will be having Holiday mini sessions this year.  I do plan to have some mini sessions and have already begun planning a couple of sweet sets for the studio.  They will likely be in late October/early November with specific dates coming soon.  Mini sessions will be held in the studio only so if you are interested in beautiful outdoor fall images, you will need to book a full session.

I am planning a wonderful little special for expectant mommies, which will be announced when I return from vacation.  So if you are expecting, keep an eye open for the special.  If you are not, let all your pregnant friends know to watch out for a sweet deal.
