I have always heard that things like the moon, etc influence when women go into labor.  Never really thought much of it until I began photographing newborns.  You know, they really do come in waves and lulls.  I’ll have none for a week or two and then several right in a row.  I am in a newborn wave right now and loving it, of course.  Who doesn’t love snuggling and spending time with a brand new baby.  Miss Molly, oh so tiny and sweet, came to see me this week.  She was just shy of 5 pounds and 6 days old in these photos–a perfectly sleepy little model!  She didn’t care where or how I placed her, although she loved to move and stretch her little arms. Check out the smile she gave when daddy kissed her–a daddy’s girl already.
