Whew, I just finished boxing up hundreds of holiday cards and will be headed to the post office to ship them out. In turn, I hope they will spread holiday joy all over the world when they are sent out by my Uppercase clients to their friends and family. And speaking of family, this post is going to feature a special family to me. I had the pleasure of photographing my middle sister’s family (I am the youngest of three girls) over the Thanksgiving weekend. Yes, when your little sister is a photographer you get told what to wear, where to go and when to show up for your holiday portraits because I am squeezing you in amongst all the Uppercase clients. Luckily, they all showed up looking gorgeous as usual and I am in love with their photos.
My sister and her gorgeous family:
The sweetest 16 year old guy I know:
The almost 9 year old Gap model in the making:
The sassy princess herself:
We didn’t forget mom and dad:
And the results of extra fruit roll up bribery….well worth it, I think
You should see their beautiful holiday cards featuring these shots. I better be getting one in the mail!
I have a contest winner to announce as well! I used random.org to choose a number between 1 and 33 for the comments left on the previous post. The winning number was comment 33, Jane Caine. Jane, if you will email me at julie@uppercasephotography.com I’ll get your $50 gift certificate out to you right away. Thanks so much to everyone who left comments about their families holiday traditions. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them and we may even start a new tradition or two at our home this year.
