Belly to Baby | Winston Salem Maternity Photographer

I love shooting maternity sessions.  Even though they may not always feel that they look their best, I find expectant mommies to be beautiful and glowing.  S was no exception and she just radiates in her maternity images.  The B family invited me to their home to capture the maternity portion of the maternity/newborn package they purchased.  The package includes a mini maternity session either on-location or in the Uppercase studio and a full newborn session upon your new babies arrival, along with 25 custom 5×7 birth announcements.

After shooting a few shots in and around the B family’s home, I told them I had spotted a great open field on my way in and would love to shoot a few images in the field.  I love how my clients choose me because they love what I do and they trust me.  The B family followed me through their neighbor’s yard, crossed a creek, and trudged through almost waist high brush to get to the spot where these images were taken.  I’m sure in their head they were thinking that this BETTER be worth it.  I totally think it was. :)

S also had the greatest idea.  She had me design 4×5.5 folded cards featuring one of her maternity images on the front and leaving it blank inside.  She used these as thank you cards for her baby shower gifts.  Brilliant!

It was a pleasure meeting the B family and capturing their anticipation of the best time of their lives.  I simply cannot wait until their little one makes his appearance next month and I can captured his newborn portraits.
