Sometimes I wonder if my clients know how I fall a little in love with their families. I am blessed to photograph the most awesome families and this one was certainly no exception. I have been blessed with lots of newborn twins to photograph this year and their families always hold an extra special place in my heart. When twins spend a little time in the NICU like this tiny brother/sister pair, I find myself anxious to receive updates on how they are doing. I end up almost as excited as the family when they are given a release date. I remember so well receiving an email from G and S’s mommy saying that one of them would be coming home and the other would remain in the NICU just a bit longer…and then receiving an ecstatic email later that day that both babies were allowed to go home together! I could feel her joy and did a little happy dance myself! They were three weeks old and came in for their session right away, bringing along their rockstar big brother for a few sibling images as well. Big brother L was 10 years old and absolutely amazing with his new siblings. Twins bring twice the love and twice the fun…but they also bring twice the challenge, which is why I am so thankful to Lina for joining me in capturing these images.
